Spacious, not crowded space. Diversity of choices comparing to other malatang, lots of veggies/mushrooms choices, seafood and meats as well. I got the classic soup, soup was amazing, the sauce bar has lots to mix & match. They have ice cream, salad, peanuts, fresh fruit as well. Just some note, the salad at the sauce bar is very spicy so be careful with that. Also the cashier will make sure about your allergies at the counter.

Been here more than 20 times! I ditch my office cafeteria for this spot! Zhangliang Malatang is a total hidden gem! The ambiance is clean, calm, and never overcrowded. The Sichuan flavor is amazing, and the price is unbeatable — I usually spend under $15 for a fresh, protein‑rich, customizable meal. Just pick meat and veggies if you’re eating clean or on a diet! It’s $15 per pound, and that even includes fruit, pastries, and ice cream. The sauce bar is sufficiently stocked! Affordable, tasty, and healthy — one of the best casual spots in Bellevue.

As soon as you enter the door you get to pick veggies, protein and noodles etc and it is weighed by the pound and cooked for you. The price per pound was $15-16 and there is a minimum of 1.5 pounds for spicy hotpot and spicy dry pot. There is no minimum for other flavors. Service was short quick but it got busy on a Friday evening. It was much more quieter on a weekday for lunch. We had a great experience as a family at this Malatang hotpot place. Complimentary soft serve ice cream was a big hit. There is also a small sauce and fruit bar.

This place nailed the spicy broth - rich, numbing, and not too oily. The ingredient selection was huge, and everything tasted super fresh. Perfect balance of spice and flavor. Definitely my go-to malatang now!
